Hire A Wedding Planner, Save Some Money

Hello, everyone! I just saw something awesome (and very informative) on CNN.com:

This video follows a young couple in East Rutherford, New Jersey (yay!) who are planning their wedding on a budget -- and being mighty smart about it. They're shopping in discount stores, hunting for great deals, making reasonable compromises...AND, they've hired a wedding planner!

Unfortunately, I think it's a little-known fact that wedding planners can actually SAVE their clients a lot of money.

How so? Well, first of all, we save our clients tremendous amounts of time by putting together schedules, researching favors, recommending vendors, and coordinating all the little details -- and, as everyone knows, time is money.

We also know where to find the best deals on favors, food, and anything else the couple needs for the big day. We've done the research, and we can show our clients exactly where to go to find the perfect items for less.

Futhermore, we have strong relationships with every type of wedding vendor -- DJs, florists, halls, photographers -- and we can get discounted rates and "freebees" that simply would not be available to a bride.

All in all, a wedding planner will pay for him or herself in discounts, extras, and benefits before the wedding is over. That means that most couples will end up having a planner for free, or at least very close to it.

And really, who can afford NOT to take advantage of a deal like that?
